FALA Terms of Use
Version 1.3 • 27 August 2026
1. App provider
FALA is provided by Rafał Hordij, an independent developer. Contact: rhordij@icloud.com.
2. Nature of the app
FALA supports self-observation, recording predictions, and comparing them with what later happened. The app is not a medical device, does not diagnose or provide therapy, and does not replace a doctor, psychologist, psychotherapist, or crisis service.
3. Emergencies
FALA is not intended to respond to an immediate threat to life or health. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency services or a qualified professional.
4. Use of the app
You are responsible for content entered into the app, protecting your device, and creating data backups. You must not use the app unlawfully, infringe the rights of others, circumvent safeguards, or disrupt services.
5. Data and backups
Data is primarily stored locally. You should use the export feature or optional iCloud synchronization. The developer cannot guarantee recovery of data lost because of app deletion, device failure, insufficient storage, operating system behavior, or third-party services.
6. FALA PRO and purchases
PRO features, their current price, billing period, and renewal terms are presented before purchase confirmation. Payment is processed by Apple, while RevenueCat supports offering retrieval and PRO entitlement verification. Access to subscription-based PRO features is available while the verified purchase entitlement remains active. You can manage a subscription in your Apple ID settings; deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. Purchases can be restored using the feature available in the app. Processing details are provided in the Apple Privacy Policy and the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
7. Renewal and cancellation
If the selected product is an auto-renewable subscription, it renews as stated by the App Store unless you disable renewal in your Apple ID settings. Disabling renewal does not interrupt the current paid period; access remains active until that period ends unless the App Store indicates otherwise. Billing, cancellation, and refund requests are handled in accordance with Apple’s policies and applicable law.
8. Availability and changes
The developer may develop, improve, limit, or discontinue features where necessary for security, legal compliance, or product development. Material changes will not deprive you of rights arising from completed purchases or mandatory law.
9. Liability
FALA is provided with reasonable care but does not guarantee a specific psychological outcome or uninterrupted availability of third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Licence and intellectual property
The app, its code, graphics, name, and materials are protected by law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your devices in accordance with App Store rules. Where these terms do not apply, Apple’s Standard EULA applies.
11. Applicable law and contact
The agreement is governed by the law applicable to you to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection rules. Questions, complaints, and reports may be sent to the contact address above.
